Went to nus and ntu open house yest wif my rc frens. They say my face look chao ta…haha…wat the…but then was really happy to see them again. JX was exactly e same…I was saying we can cut and paste her face into our sec sch foto and it’ll look just e same! 1038 and my daughter YC dyed their hair…and e change is real big…think they dyed brown and had a light brown highlight. 1038 say she had to bleach her hair in order to obtain e light brown colour. XQ’s face dint change…just that she became more open wif her fashion sense and she turn out to be e onli one wearing a skirt. I mean our rc gang is known for our tshirt jeans style…but seems like jc can really change us to a certain extent! We took e shuttle bus frm dover to nus…e bus was actually quite empty…YC and my voices practically filled e whole bus (last time both of us were also known for our loudness:) Laugh and laugh…so I dint take note of how long or short e bus ride was. We went for our 1st talk at 10am which turn out to be damn lame… “Why choose nus? Cos we’re the best!” I mean can they stop being ego? Wat we want to hear is an insight of e various courses lo! Sian…and it’s so cramp and hot and stuffy! Went to e exhibition on level 2…XQ kept engaging in super long conversations wif e professors! Her grades so gd and yet she’s interested in those ulu courses…obviously e professor would love to haf her rite? In fact her grades is even better than e professor himself la! Then he say “I look forward to seeing u in our faculty!” Argh…how I wish I could just siam! Went to ask abt engineering and e professor turn out to be super diao la…not like e one XQ approached! I ask wat are e career options…then he say “huh?ur qsn v hard to answer leh!” Wat so hard to answer sia? Can’t u just gif me some examples? It’s normal for students to feel insecured and want to noe wat they can become in the future rite? Kao! Oh yah…then we went to tour e school of engineering. Met students frm tt course and I asked em wat grades they entered wif…Guess wat? “AAB” Hah! Well Done~Really dint imagine nus tour to be tt demoralizing la! Left nus at 3 plus and reached ntu on e dot at 4. We ran all e way to LT2 for e business talk. Was super exhausted…dint even see e step at e doorway…I was like “hmm…think nobody saw ba?” Then saw tt cheeky xiao xi…say “haha!die dao!” Well…LT2 was totally packed…gotta stand throughout. But e talk was gd! Much better than nus! Spotted much more mj pple as compared to in nus. Dunno y…but I’m really not interested in listening to e engineering talk again. YC say wanna go suntec but our bags were super heavy. We started taking out those bottles of water and gobbling everything down so as to reduce weight. Then we sling all e bags on and head off to mrt station. XQ met her vj frens and decided to “zhong se qing you” and go wif em…haha!Happen to meet justin and peanut at suntec. We shopped a while then had dinner. Feel very warm eating wif my squadmates again! We agreed to attend e rc campfire together…tt’s provided I could find pple to replce me! Plus now so dangerous…so many pple kena sacked at our cc…dun dare to anyhow take leave le! Shall see wat our new timetable is like!
